About Jack N. Tawil
Jack N. Tawil is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) in Maryland and is also the current co-chair of the ISTDP Training Program at the New Washington School of Psychiatry. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park, his Master of Science Degree from Central Washington University, and his Master of Social Work Degree from Catholic University. Jack also has eight years of post-graduate training in psychotherapy from the Washington School of Psychiatry.
Jack has been on faculty as a teacher, supervisor, and trainer in the ISTDP training program at the Washington School of Psychiatry (now NWSP) since 2016.
In addition to private practice, Jack has served as a Clinical Affiliate at the George Washington University Counseling Center and has also held posts at various outpatient mental clinics across the DC/Baltimore metropolitan region where he has worked with diverse client populations.
Jack is a passionate clinician, trainer, and supervisor of ISTDP. He enjoys getting the word out about this transformative training model of psychotherapy.
